Treating Pain & Dysfunction

After the last 5 years of doing massage and incorporating medical/orthopedic massage into my practice the last three years, I have seen the shift move more into medical massage than relaxation. People simply want out of pain. They want to sleep better, move better, and feel better.

We have moved into more treatment work and outcome-based sessions to better treat our client's health and wellness goals. Medical massage work is a puzzle. Assessment, treatment, and goals are a lot of what we do to fit those puzzle pieces together for a better goal-oriented outcome.

Although a lot of our massage sessions are therapeutic/orthopedic in nature, we still love to do a great Swedish massage. Relaxation massage has many benefits, such as, better circulation, stimulates movement of lymphatic fluid, improves joint mobility, relieves stress, improves mental alertness, boosts immune function, speeds healing of soft tissue injuries, improves sleep quality, and reduces tension in muscles and eases pain.

We work with Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Physicians to bring about better health and wellness goals to our community.
